Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this western guy figured out how to best use his charms to convince people to do what he wants. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: Varis was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it.

Description: Standing 5'2", this man wears a fine chain shirt which he covers with brown colored cloaks and clothing. His cinnamon fur is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. His green eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed brown hat.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born in the east. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized yellow coat. He carries with him a set of whips, each one with a jet on the hilt. He only wears one on his belt and the other on his back. He has styled his red hair well, parting it to the left. His eyes are violet and catlike.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of drow once and for all.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by drow. Everard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the drow.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: Born to a Courier, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Half-Orc companion (his 'brother'). He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.
