Mardred Balderk, Female Dwarf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: She wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. She usually doesn't wear a shirt. She is bristling with hidden weapons, mostly longswords and greataxes. Her red hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. She has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.
Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Mardred was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Mardred grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Mardred. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable; and tabaxi compassion
