Paggen Murnig, Male Gnome [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears dull blue sweaters, loose yellow pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed crossbow, just in case. He carries with him a set of crossbows on his belt, each one with a opal on the hilt. He keeps his blonde hair in a flapper bob. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He works hard and plays hard.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Paggen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
Ideals: Fighting. Flaws: Antagonistic, Hedonist. Bonds: Attractive, Religious. Occupation: Carpenter

Rurik Durthane, Male Dwarf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty grey coat over it. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. He sports a flattop hair cut. His hazel eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.
Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.
History: Rurik was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Aristocrat, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Farmer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and obtaining odd cultural dwarven artifacts is his passion

Veit Brazzik, Male Dwarf [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: A 4'2" western man, he wears tattered old clothes. His chestnut hair is slicked back into a classic pompadour. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. During his travels, Veit and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Veit discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Veit fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
