Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Vani is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a Ploughman, her father struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Sailor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. While she appears to be a normal Elf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with her Weaver father left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He has never given up on his dancing dream.
