Description: This younger middle-aged man dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head, and a wedding ring on his left hand. Sporting a red mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His violet eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Eberdeb grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Eberdeb. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Paggen was born the youngest of three triplets. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: Gorbundus hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Gifted from a young age, Gorbundus studied abroad. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and he's in love

Description: He is dressed in earthy colors with a red and violet handkerchief worn on his right side. His hair is cut close to his head. His half smiles and gray eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.
