His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Sammal is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ploughman they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Sellsword, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Sellsword and was forced into it by his family.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born in the west to a Servant, Bucklal learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Bucklal was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Servant. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Fortune-teller. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: She was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A freak accident while working with her Servant father left her crippled. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.
