History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Mary grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Mary abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
