History: He was born in the south. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Tethren grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Tethren. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Description: This western woman wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. Her clothes are grease stained in places. She has wavy golden hair. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born to a Mayor, her father struggled to pay the bills. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dwarves in Oriff's homeland. Oriff decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She became a Beggar soon after.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge.

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized black coat. Her purple hair is singed and shortened. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying north to reunite her family. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and she is content
