History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Personality: She is a Dyer first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. A gifted student she started as a Merchant, but she got bored and became a Dyer. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
