History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Shava was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Shava abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. Personality: She is not truly malevolent, but she is obsessed with painting. She constantly tries to fill her life with painting. Phann is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Description: He is a pot bellied eastern man with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. His broad hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.

Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing dancing.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Paelias fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she wears a black vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her green leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her black boots flare out at the collars. Her blue crest is thinning but still full. She has red eyes and a black hat with a green feather.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She feeds upon the attention of others.

History: When she was but 3 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day
