She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
