History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Shifting was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: She was born in the north, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
