Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears bulky brown painted plate armor. His silver hair, when down, is lengthy. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Rangrim embodies much of what other species detest in the Dwarves. He works hard and plays hard.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Rangrim abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he is well dressed, constantly wearing a brown suit, yellow shirt, and black tie. He wears a small hat to cover his moderate length silver hair. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He receives visions of the future at random moments
