History: A child with a great deal of music talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When Birel reached her early adolescence her Elf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: Born to a Seamstress, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Server for the past few years.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Lewis was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: Gifted from a young age, Mella studied abroad. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Gnomish companion (her 'brother'). She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion.
