History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: Cumpen wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Monk, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Gardener arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Seamstress. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
