History: Mary hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and she wants revenge against gnolls
