Description: He is a mite stocky and likes to wear ponchos typically of a light white in addition to tight pants. He wears a small hat to cover his moderate length chestnut hair. He has a tattooed face.
Personality: He is happy with his job as a Detective. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.
History: Barfa was raised in a hard working conservative environment. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with feathered hat. He has a black handlebar mustache and slicked back black hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.
Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Tabaxi culture. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day

Description: The light-skinned woman stands 4'1" and is dressed in a clean grey cloak covering her clean studded leather. She has brown hair. She wears a mask on her face.
Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She is a thrill seeker, she laughs at people and throws down challenges. She is highly competitive and combative.
History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Werydd was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She found a children's book about a Dwarf Sorcerer who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.
Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She wears a robe, a symbol of luck around her neck, and a pickaxe on her belt. She has dyed her greying yellow fur a little too much giving a sharp yellow color. She has amber eyes and a brown hat with a white feather.
Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. River was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. River decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. River fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable.
