Description: The man speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. He seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if he got out from a pool a few moments ago. He wears dark leathers with embroidery. His red crest is lengthy. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His mother worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled mother and took his mother's old job. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and seeks redemption

He wears his black hair up in a very large beehive style do. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He hates illithids. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and retire the richest man in the south

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a chocolate of some kind. He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, marred by chocolates. His head has been shaved. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady blue eyes.

Personality: He is extraordinarily eccentric. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.
