History: He was raised by priests from a young age. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Spice Merchant. He's also a talented Painter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Yurk was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Apothecary. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
