History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Baelitae was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
