Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Dean was born with his father's beautiful face. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Great grew up listening to his mother's many stories. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Great alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Half-Orc artifacts is his passion; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: His psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His parents enrolled him in a Commoner school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. After a long history of fighting, Tarak and his spouse have recently divorced.

Description: A plain young-adult woman, she wears a brown costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on her torso. Her blonde hair is still thick. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Vonana grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Vonana. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.
