Description: A moderately attractive man, he wears a simple tan robe with violet stripes complete with hood. He has shaved his head bald. His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep brown.
Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he is dressed in earthy colors with a brown and green handkerchief worn on his right side. His hair is red and curly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: Dalgal speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and he wants to meet his childhood hero

Description: This late middle aged woman wears a grey vest with golden trim over her white shirt. Her pastel leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and her grey boots flare out at the collars and is in decent physical shape. Her white hair is wavy and long. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.
Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.
History: Beatrice lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her mother, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Fortune-teller and was forced into it by her family; and to reunite with her absent mother

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She enjoys reading and quiet.
History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and many illithids want her driven away
