History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: She is extraordinarily eccentric. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Lavinia is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: Andraste is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Elves.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Andraste was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and many dire rats want her driven away
