Personality: She has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. She is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with her big mouthed big gutted partner. Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: The child of a Ruler, who enjoyed hunting, Merla was taken on many hunting expeditions. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Adelard was born the youngest of three triplets. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Detective they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Engraver, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and doesn't want to be a engraver and was forced into it by his family
