History: Shadow lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His childhood dream was to be a Fortune-teller, but he was a colossal failure. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Description: A moderately attractive man, he very much looks the part of a Ruler. He wears a wide-brimmed hat to cover his moderate length dark red hair. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Theodoric speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Theodoric was born with his father's beautiful face. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.
