Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Emen is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a Farmer, her father struggled to pay the bills. She found a children's book about a Half-Orc Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. After a long history of fighting, Emen and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and to reunite with her old friends

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Mortician who has hired her part-time. She does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Her parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when she was still a young child. The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Marshal. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and she wants to get laid
