History: Nyx lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Nyx alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: The child of a Barber, who enjoyed hunting, Zook was taken on many hunting expeditions. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Barber they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Mayor, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He speaks before he thinks and is too direct. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
