History: Nim was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Monk, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Monk in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Elf Monk who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A freak accident while working with her Dilettante mother left her crippled. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes gnolls are coming to abduct people. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His first spouse was a Interpreter, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
