Description: A middle-aged man, he is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Painter, and is pretty ugly. His white hair is cut short. His violet eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Painter born in the past three hundred years. Aldous is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He has since lost track of the people in his past.
