History: Emma was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. She would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Emma took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up kukri and armor she uses now. She has never given up on her music dream.

He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Her parents were killed by giants in a raid when she was still a young child. The giants captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

History: Umpen lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.
