Description: This woman is bedraggled and starved. She is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. Her black hair is thinning but still full. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Egelina will drive conversation. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Egelina fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Halflings. His skin is light but he possesses many grey ritualistic tattoos. He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His brown hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of giants may trigger it at times.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against giants.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He is wearing a long, blue cloak. His hair is chestnut, silky, and of moderate length. His skin is flawless and his violet eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. After months of barely getting by, Frug managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 3'5" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His long silver hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
