History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Donaar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after Donaar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Donaar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
