History: Shag was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Shag was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
