Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. Her actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as she answers to a power that mortal women fail to acknowledge.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jacoba grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jacoba. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Baern was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has worked as a Mason like his mother before him.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear; and she wants to meet her childhood hero
