Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. His red hair is knotted and matted. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Merchant born in the past three hundred years. He is a great chef.

History: Varis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His psionic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Smoking alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
