History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Theren was born on a far western plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Butcher. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Through the years after Egelina was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Egelina's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Egelina and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
