History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Gnomish activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and balancing her hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult
