Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. The war was a terrible time for her, and Valanthe does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Valanthe grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Oriff is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Oriff was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.
