Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Masseuse hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it; and to reunite with his old friends

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Butcher they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Ruler, and he later adopted a second daughter.
