History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Navigator. He became a Navigator soon after.

Description: Her left side is far more bruised and cut up than her other. She wears bulky green painted plate armor. Her white crest is knotted and matted. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines gold.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. At some point she was captured by dire rats and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it

Personality: Tharivol is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While he appears to be a normal Elf, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle.

Description: She is an average looking eastern female in her early mid-life. She wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. She conceals her rapier with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. Her moppish chestnut hair is in a traditional bowl cut. Her blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: She was born into a rich family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Being a Courier kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
