This search led him directly into Guard work with an outfit from a few towns over. Guard work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has achieved small success as a Guard.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He got into the Miller business at a young age. He was taken from his home at a very young age. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Interpreter. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he's in love

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She passes on several rewards to people in need. She makes a point to leave places better than she found them.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Her childhood dream was to be a Mayor, but she was a colossal failure. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
