History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She's also a talented Scribe, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. A true patriot, Rathkran would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To reunite with his old friends.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Description: She is scrawny and has patchy white stubble. She wears baggy yellow pantaloons and a green scarf. She has a hunchback. She is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around her ears. Her blue eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She pushes her goals aggressively. She is also a coward if confronted.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
