Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. The war was a terrible time for him, and Rivaan does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Spice Merchant for the past few years.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Ostracized due to the necromantic powers of his oldest sister, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Dwarves became a terror of the countryside. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
