History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Jelenneth liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Umpen enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Umpen was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Umpen fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: She was raised by priests from a young age. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Personality: She has two modes she varies between. On the job she is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job she is a party animal. When triggered she is a bloodthirsty maniac, stopping at nothing and killing everything for almost an hour.

History: Sutha was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Scribe responsibilities is difficult; and she has decided she is irredeemable
