She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Therlin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Kadana was a troubled youth.
