Shanairla grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Shanairla. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Her brown eyes peer out from beneath her small grey hat.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Balifra isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Dwarven unity. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Balifra grew up listening to her mother's many stories. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and she has decided she is irredeemable
