Personality: Aelar is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. The war was a terrible time for him, and Aelar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born in the south. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. As long as the job gets done she does not care how it got done.

History: Born in the north to a Spice Merchant, Emma learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he desires power and/or immortality
