History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the south, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying south to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Weaver responsibilities is difficult; and she feels kind of lost in life
