Personality: Faran is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Faran abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Description: This fat southern woman has a bulbous nose and prefers to wear grey clothing when she does not wear armor. Her skin is also unnaturally pale. She wears her brown hair down. Her amber eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hadwisa grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hadwisa. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and a rival would like her out of the picture
