History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Ruler and was forced into it by his family; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. A true patriot, Jarana would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Jarana was born on a far southern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Cartwright. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Description: This malnourished man typically wears violet cloth garments or leather armor. His red hair is cut short. His ears are large.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Rael was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Cleric, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Cleric in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with his old friends
